Established in 2002, Saffron Cottage has become “the” place in Tecoma to savour authentic Nepali & Indian Cuisine enveloped in a serene environment. After almost 20 years of superior service, we’re still perfecting our kitchen skills to make sure meals from our fine dining rewardingly quenches the thirst of all our hungry patrons.

Puran Bahadur Sapkota, the restaurateur, brings over 30 years of experience as a professional chef to Saffron Cottage. If working in several renowned restaurants & hotels in Nepal, India, Japan, Hong Kong, and Thailand has taught him something, it’s the use of fresh and best ingredients to craft deliciously tempting Nepalese and Indian Cuisine. Influenced by the use of only fresh herbs, Sapkota uses locally sourced fruits and vegetables combined with aromatic herbs and spices to serve you authentic, delectable, and healthy dishes from South Asia.

Here at Saffron Cottage, we’re a team of enthusiastic food lovers with diverse ancestries sharing one mutual goal of serving exquisite food on the table to our enthralling visitors. And over our 20-year journey, we’ve enjoyed working with team members who live locally.

Saffron Cottage has its doors open for all, and we’re happy to cater to people with specific dietary requirements. In response to the current situation of social distancing, we’ve set up takeaway management, so anyone can order, pick up and enjoy authentic and palatable Nepalese & Indian Cuisine in the comfort and safety of their own homes.
